Configuration file - Magnitude

Magnitude reads ~/.magnitude/config.json, or %USERPROFILE%\.magnitude\config.json on Windows. Settings writes the same file. Keys Magnitude does not know are preserved.

`appearance`	`system`, `light`, `dark`	Immediately
`autoDownloadUpdates`	`true`, `false`	Immediately
`modelsDirectory`	Absolute path of the model folder. Absent means `~/.magnitude/models`. A symbolic link is followed.	Next start
`network.enabled`	`true` to accept connections from other devices. Absent or `false` means this computer only.	Next start
`network.bind`	One IP address of this computer. Absent means all interfaces.	Next start
`network.apiKey`	The key other devices must send. Generated when network access is first enabled; Regenerate in Settings replaces it.	Next start
`network.requireApiKey`	`false` lets other devices connect without a key. Default `true`.	Next start

Invalid values are ignored and logged. A relative modelsDirectory or a network.bind that is not an IP address falls back to the default, and Settings shows the reason.

Other files in `~/.magnitude`

Path	Contents
`models/`	Downloaded models, unless `modelsDirectory` points elsewhere.
`cache/`	Cached and derived data. Safe to delete while Magnitude is not running.
`harness-connections.json`	Connection records for Connections.

Do not delete the whole directory to fix one problem. Removing the app and removing model data are separate actions.
